I retired as a Master Sergeant in 1994 from 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at Fort Campbell, KY. I met my wife, Joy, in Korea in 1986, married in November 1987, and finally convinced the Army to station us together at Fort Campbell in 1988. We now live outside Carrollton, GA with her mother, Ruth Garmon, on a small farm.
I am a graduate (with Honors) of the State University of West Georgia with a degree in Computer Science. I am currently employed by the University as a Technical Project Manager providing service and computer administration to 80+ computers used by the staff and students of the State University of West Georgia at Newnan. I have been working with my own computers since the early eighties. In the mid eighties the Army assigned me a computer and I continued to do computer related work (as an additional task) for the Army until I retired.
This is my first attempt at using CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) on a web page. All of the links at the top of the page lead to pages using CSS. The neat thing about using CSS is that when you hit the print button in your browser you only get the this text and not the banner across the top, not the navigation bars, or even the footer. I am available for consulting work in computer purchases, software applications, and networking. You can take a look at my resume using the link on the top. Incidentally, click here for a picture of why I enjoy Georgia. Send me a message by clicking here.
